Are you a passionate and dedicated Nursery Nurse looking for an exciting opportunity in Cleckheaton? Academics, a leading education recruitment company based in Halifax, is proud to support a fantastic client school in their search for an outstanding Nursery Nurse.

Position: Nursery Nurse
Location: Cleckheaton
Pay: £85 - £100 per day (paid weekly)
Hours: Full-time, long-term contract

About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join a vibrant and supportive early years team in Cleckheaton. This is a full-time, long-term position. You will be working with young children, helping them develop and grow in a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 2-5 years.
Support children's development in a stimulating and inclusive environment.
Plan and implement engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a positive learning environment.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and well-being.

Requirements:

A Level 2 qualification in Early Years or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
A warm, caring, and patient nature with a genuine passion for working with children.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Paediatric First Aid (Preferred)
