Full-Time GDC Registered Dental Nurse

About the Role

Ark Dentistry is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated GDC Registered Dental Nurse to join our exceptional team at our modern private dental practice in Huddersfield.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fully private practice specialising in comprehensive smile makeovers and high-quality cosmetic dentistry. You'll work alongside experienced clinicians using the latest digital technology, helping to deliver outstanding patient experiences and life-changing smile transformations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide chairside assistance during a range of private dental procedures, including smile makeovers, cosmetic and restorative treatments.
Prepare treatment rooms, equipment and materials to the highest clinical standards.
Maintain excellent infection prevention and control procedures in accordance with HTM 01-05 guidance.
Support patients throughout their treatment journey, ensuring they feel comfortable, informed and reassured.
Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
Accurately maintain patient records and clinical documentation.
Assist with stock control and organisation of clinical supplies.
Work closely with clinicians and the wider team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
Maintain compliance with GDC standards, CQC regulations and practice policies.

Essential Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse with a recognised dental nursing qualification.
Current GDC registration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional, positive and patient-focused attitude.
High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
Ability to work efficiently within a busy clinical team.
Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Desirable Requirements

Previous experience in a private dental practice.
Experience assisting with cosmetic dentistry, veneers, composite bonding, ortho, or implant treatments.
Dental Radiography qualification.
Familiarity with digital workflows and dental practice management software.
