We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading multi-franchise approved commercial vehicle dealer group, for the position of Part-Time Trainee People Advisor based in Westbury, Wiltshire. Duties:

Support the People Team with employee relations and HR administration
Assist in preparing employee relations documentation, reports, and correspondence
Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files and HR systems
Support administration and coordination of employee relation cases
Attend meetings to take notes and support HR colleagues
Respond to routine HR and people-related queries from managers and team members
Support onboarding and employee lifecycle administration
Help review and update HR policies, procedures, and templates in line with GDPR compliance
Support employee engagement, wellbeing, and culture initiatives
Assist in preparing management information reports
Build positive working relationships across the business
Support delivery of company culture activities
Participate in relevant training to enhance HR knowledge and skills
Act as an ambassador for the People Team and our client

Requirements for the Trainee HR Advisor position:

Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong administrative ability and attention to detail
Computer-literate with confidence using various software and technologies
Previous experience in HR, office administration, or the automotive industry is beneficial but not essential
A UK driving licence would be advantageous but is not mandatory
