Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for a Warehouse Operative / Materials Handler to begin work for a well-established company in the Sittingbourne area.

About the role:

Working Hours – Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 16:30
Pay Rate – £14.00 per hour PAYE
Material receiving, picking, packing, stock control and returns processing
Loading and unloading materials using a 1.5-ton forklift
Reach truck operation up to 6m is desirable
Checking, cleaning, testing and re-stocking returned materials
Maintaining accurate delivery notes, stock records and material tracking logs
Carrying out daily safety and equipment checks
Some basic painting and reconditioning of materials may be required
Physically capable of lifting approximately 8kg over a long working day
Start: Tuesday 4th August 2026
End: Sunday 23rd August 2026

About You:

High work ethic & team player
Punctual & reliable
Minimum 2 years' warehouse or logistics experience
Valid Forklift Truck licence is essential
Reach Truck licence is desirable
Full and clean UK driving licence
Manual handling and health & safety training
Able to work independently, as the role will involve working alone around 70% of the time
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Previous experience with stock control, goods receiving and returns is preferred
Painting certification/ticket is desirable
