Records & Systems Manager

Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: £45,000 - £48,000

Job Type: Permanent

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Records & Systems Manager to lead a small team and take ownership of records management, information governance, reporting, and systems management.

This is a unique hybrid position, ideal for someone who has experience managing both physical and digital records and is comfortable working with data, reporting, KPIs, and records management systems.

You'll manage a team of 3 people and act as the key point of contact for records governance, operational reporting, client requests, and improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

Manage physical and electronic records throughout their lifecycle
Ensure compliance with records management and information governance policies
Oversee records destruction processes
Manage records systems and file tracking tools
Produce KPI reports and management information
Analyse data and identify trends or areas for improvement
Lead projects and process improvement initiatives
Manage and support a team of 3 direct reports
Build strong relationships with stakeholders and provide excellent customer service
Respond to operational and client queries

What We're Looking For

Essential

Strong Records Management and Information Governance experience
Experience managing both physical and digital records
Previous people management experience
Strong Excel and reporting skills
Experience working with records management systems
Ability to analyse and interpret data
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience delivering projects and process improvements

Desirable

Experience in Document Management or Information Management environments
Data visualisation and dashboard reporting experience
Knowledge of SLA-driven services

Working Pattern

40 hours per week
Operating hours between 8am and 6pm.
Hybrid working available.
