SNR Administrator/Sales Coordinator (Shipping & Logistics)

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and proactive Sales Coordinator to join a growing business. This is a varied role supporting the sales process from enquiry through to dispatch, while building strong customer relationships and contributing to marketing and exhibition activities.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the main point of contact for customer sales enquiries and provide outstanding customer service.
Process and manage customer orders across multiple sales channels, including website, email, telephone, wholesale platforms, and exhibitions.
Coordinate order amendments, back orders, dispatch updates, and customer communications.
Prepare order confirmations, proforma invoices, and follow up outstanding payments.
Maintain accurate customer, product, stock, and order records using internal systems.
Monitor stock availability and work closely with internal teams to ensure timely fulfilment.
Coordinate the transfer of orders to warehouse and fulfilment teams, ensuring invoicing accuracy.
Follow up website enquiries and sales leads, identifying opportunities to generate repeat business.
Attend trade exhibitions, promote products, generate leads, and convert opportunities into sales.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Produce regular sales reports and support pricing, catalogue, and sample management activities.
Assist with marketing initiatives and ensure online product information remains accurate and up to date.

Requirements:

Previous experience in sales, customer service, account management, sales support, or sales administration.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong relationship-building and customer service abilities.
A proactive and commercially focused approach.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Confidence communicating with customers via phone, email, and face-to-face.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Desirable Skills & Experience

Experience using Sage50 or similar CRM/ERP systems.
Experience attending trade shows or exhibitions.
Knowledge of order processing and sales administration.
Experience within shipping coordination or administration.

Education: Bachelor's degree required.
