About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and organised Office Junior to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in administration within the roofing and construction industry.

You'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of the office, ensuring customers receive excellent service while helping our surveyors and roofing teams stay organised.

This is a position with genuine career progression. Following a successful 12-month probationary period, there will be the opportunity for a salary review and the potential to progress onto a fully supported Business Degree Apprenticeship for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Answer and respond to roofing enquiries via telephone and email.
Book surveyor appointments with customers.
Manage and organise the company inbox.
Complete daily labour sheets by contacting roofing teams to confirm:
- Hours worked
- Start and finish times
- Days worked
- Job information
Carry out courtesy calls to customers following quotations to answer questions and follow up on outstanding quotes.
Update customer records and job information within the CRM system.
Assist with general office administration and filing.
Liaise with surveyors, roofers and customers to ensure smooth communication.
Support the wider team with ad hoc administrative duties.

Skills & Experience

Essential

Excellent communication and telephone manner.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Friendly, professional and confident dealing with customers.
Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
Willingness to learn and develop.

Desirable

Experience using Pipedrive CRM is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Previous administration or customer service experience is advantageous.
