Warehouse Operative
Hours: 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday) early finish on a friday : 12:30 pm

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the warehouse by maintaining high standards of accuracy, organisation, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately pick and pack customer orders in line with company procedures.
Receive, check, and safely store incoming deliveries.
Organise and maintain warehouse stock to ensure products are easy to locate and accessible.
Monitor and manage stock levels, reporting shortages or discrepancies as required.
Carry out regular stock counts and assist with inventory control.
Prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring orders are correctly labelled and packaged.
Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Operate warehouse equipment and machinery where authorised and trained.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily targets and deadlines.
Assist with general warehouse duties as required.

Skills and Experience:

Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work to deadlines.
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities.
Must drive due to the location
