Accounts Assistant (Temporary)

Whitstable | £15.00 per hour | Part-Time | Immediate Start

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team in Whitstable on an ongoing temporary basis. This assignment is expected to last 2-3 months initially, with the potential to be extended.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong QuickBooks experience who is looking for flexible, part-time hours.

Key Responsibilities

Processing purchase and supplier invoices
Matching payments and maintaining accurate records
Carrying out bank reconciliations
General accounts administration
Using QuickBooks to support daily finance activities
Providing support to the finance team during a period of temporary cover

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
Good working knowledge of QuickBooks is essential
Experience processing invoices and reconciling accounts
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Available to start immediately

Hours

15-20 hours per week
Approximately 4 x 4-hour days (with the potential to increase to 5 x 4-hour days depending on business needs)
Flexible working pattern

Pay

£15.00 per hour
