Location: Chelmsford

Salary: £28,000 plus annual bonus

Hours: Monday 8:00am to 5:30pm, Tuesday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm

Please note: Due to the office location, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.

The Opportunity

Adecco Chelmsford are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a growing business based just outside Chelmsford.

We're looking for an experienced Customer Service Administrator to join a friendly, supportive team. This is a varied office based role where you'll become the first point of contact for customers, managing enquiries, processing orders, resolving delivery issues and providing outstanding customer service.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who has worked within a busy office environment such as manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, ecommerce or another product based business. This is for a self starter who is confident in their ability and can learn quickly.

Responsibilities

Acting as the first point of contact for customers via telephone, email and live chat.
Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Advising customers on products and assisting with enquiries.
Managing delivery queries and liaising with internal teams to provide updates.
Resolving customer complaints professionally and efficiently.
Updating customer records and completing general administration.
Building strong relationships with customers through excellent service.
Developing a strong understanding of the company's products.

We're looking for someone who has

Previous experience within Customer Service Administration, Customer Support or Order Processing.
Experience handling customer complaints and finding positive resolutions.
Excellent communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
Strong written English and attention to detail.
Confident IT skills and experience using office systems.
The ability to prioritise a busy workload.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
A full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle.
