Office Administrator / Service Coordinator - training provided

Location: Office-Based
Hours: Full Time, Permanent
Working Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
Salary - Starting salary will be based on National Minimum Wage, and will be reviewed after 3 months based on performance and development within the role.

Our client is a rapidly growing company looking for a reliable and organised Office Administrator / Service Coordinator to join their team

This is not a typical administration role. Due to the reactive nature of their industry, every day is different and can be fast-paced, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

Taking and logging customer breakdown calls
Planning and scheduling engineers' work
Ordering parts required for service and repair jobs
Costing completed jobs for invoicing
Preparing quotations using a pricing schedule
Providing general administrative and customer service support
Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems

About You

The successful candidate will:

Be organised and able to prioritise workloads effectively
Have excellent communication and customer service skills
Be confident using computers and office-based systems
Work well in a busy, reactive environment
Be a team player with a positive attitude
Be willing to learn and develop within the role

Previous experience in a service, scheduling, or administration environment would be beneficial but is not essential.

Training & Support

Full training will be provided to ensure you have all the skills and knowledge required to carry out the role successfully.

On-Call Weekend Rota

Following successful completion of training, you will be required to participate in a weekend on-call rota. This involves working from home, receiving breakdown calls and allocating work to engineers as required. (additional pay)
