Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Administrator to join the Children's Safeguarding & Quality Assurance Team at Cheshire East Council on a temporary basis. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Children's Safeguarding & Quality Assurance Team.
Organise meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes and distribute meeting documentation.
Maintain accurate electronic and paper records, ensuring information is handled confidentially and in line with GDPR.
Update and maintain internal databases and case management systems.
Process referrals, reports and other documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Respond to telephone and email enquiries, providing a professional and efficient service to colleagues, partner agencies and members of the public.
Coordinate diaries, arrange appointments and manage team inboxes where required.
Assist with the preparation of reports, performance data and audit information.
Liaise with social workers, managers and external agencies to support the effective delivery of safeguarding services.
Undertake general administrative duties including filing, scanning, document management and data entry.

Requirements

Previous experience in an administrative or business support role, ideally within Children's Services, Social Care or the public sector.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise competing tasks.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
