Administrator (Customer Service & Bookings)

Location: Central Exeter

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Start Date: Immediate Start Available

Salary: £13.20 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Administrator to join our team in Central Exeter. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a busy customer-focused environment and enjoys providing excellent service to customers.

As part of our administration team, you will be responsible for supporting customers, handling booking enquiries, and ensuring that all communications are managed efficiently and professionally. The successful candidate will be confident communicating via both email and telephone and be able to quickly learn and navigate our booking system.

Key Responsibilities

Managing customer enquiries via phone and email
Processing and managing bookings accurately
Providing exceptional customer service at all times
Updating and maintaining customer records
Assisting with general administrative duties
Resolving customer queries in a professional and timely manner
Working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Learning and using our booking system effectively

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous administration experience
Strong customer service skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A professional and friendly telephone manner
Good attention to detail and organisational skills
Confidence using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications
The ability to learn new software and processes quickly
A proactive and positive attitude

Desirable

Previous experience working within the leisure, fitness, sports, or hospitality sector
Experience using booking or scheduling systems

Additional Requirements

A satisfactory DBS check will be required prior to employment.
Candidates must be available for an immediate start.
