Goods In / Stock Administrator

Location: New Milton, Hampshire
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £13.00 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday
7.00am - 3.30pm (3.00pm finish on Fridays)
30-minute lunch break

We are recruiting for a Goods In / Stock Administrator to join a well-established manufacturing company based in New Milton.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in goods inwards, stock control or stores administration who enjoys a varied role combining office-based administration with liaison across the warehouse and production departments.

Working as part of a friendly and supportive team, you will play a key role in ensuring incoming materials are accurately booked into stock and are available to support production.

The Role

Based primarily in the office, your responsibilities will include:

Booking incoming materials and deliveries onto the company's stock system.
Checking delivery documentation against purchase orders.
Accurately updating stock records and inventory information.
Liaising with suppliers regarding delivery queries where required.
Working closely with the warehouse, production and purchasing teams.
Monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock control activities.
Filing and maintaining accurate records of deliveries and stock movements.
Supporting general stores and administrative duties as required.
Maintaining a high level of accuracy and organisation at all times.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who has:

Previous experience within a Goods In, Stores, Stock Control or Purchasing Administration role.
Experience booking goods into stock using a computerised system.
Good IT skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office and stock management systems.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues across different departments.
A positive, reliable and proactive approach to work.
