Client Details

As the Functional Head of Department and Procurement Manager the post holder will be responsible for identifying and delivering a strategy to lead procurement across the organisation, building strong supplier partnerships, driving cost and efficiency improvements, and identifying innovative ways to strengthen the supply chain

We're looking for someone with a strong track record in procurement leadership, supplier negotiation, and stakeholder engagement. Just as importantly, you'll be someone who brings fresh ideas, uses data to make decisions, and has the confidence to influence at all levels of the business.

Description

Manage procurement activities to meet business needs effectively.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues promptly.
Implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
Analyse market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams to forecast procurement needs.

Profile

A successful Procurement Manager should have:

Experience in procurement within a Manufacturing industry.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Knowledge of procurement policies and best practices.
Ability to analyse market trends and data effectively.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
