Description

Manage and maintain accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
Assist in processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations in a timely manner.
Support the preparation of financial reports and statements for internal and external use.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
Collaborate with the wider accounting team to ensure smooth financial operations.
Provide administrative support for the accounting and finance department as required.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders professionally and efficiently.

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

A background in accounting or finance, with a strong understanding of basic financial principles.
Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
