Student Records Administrator (Temporary)

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Student Records Administrator to join a busy and supportive administration team on a temporary basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented administrator with strong data entry skills to play a key role in maintaining accurate student records and supporting the smooth operation of a fast-paced educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately process and maintain student records and data.
Input, update and validate information across multiple systems.
Process enrolments, withdrawals, transfers and other student record amendments.
Respond to internal enquiries via telephone, email and service desk requests.
Support data quality checks to ensure records remain accurate and compliant.
Assist with enrolment activities and peak-period administrative projects.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple departments.
Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous administration experience.
Experience working in a data-focused role with high levels of accuracy.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Experience handling confidential information.
A proactive and team-focused approach to work.

Previous experience within education or a student records environment would be advantageous but is not essential.

Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm

Location: Peterborough Area

Job Type: Temporary (6 Months)

Hours: Full-Time, 37 Hours per Week

Pay Rate: £13.17 per hour
