Location: Stanford-le-Hope, Essex
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday | Rotating Shifts (06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00)
Contract: Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting experienced Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join a leading global logistics company based in Stanford-le-Hope. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a fast-paced warehouse operation, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role

As a Counterbalance Forklift Driver, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth movement of goods throughout the warehouse. Duties will include:

Safely loading and unloading trailers using a Counterbalance forklift.
Putting stock away into the correct warehouse locations.
Moving products efficiently throughout the warehouse.
Assisting with order movement and stock control.
Carrying out general warehouse duties as required.
Adhering to all health & safety procedures and company standards.
Supporting the wider warehouse team during busy periods.

Please note that this position is hands on as well as operating the FLT.

What We're Looking For

A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, AITT or equivalent).
Previous experience working within a warehouse or logistics environment.
Ability to work rotating shifts on a weekly basis.
A flexible approach with a willingness to undertake general warehouse duties when required.
Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards.

Desirable Experience

The following experience would be advantageous, but is not essential:

Groupage operations
Flexi/Bendi forklift
Pivot Steer forklift
