Description

Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients.
Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll legislation and regulations.
Process payroll adjustments, including holiday pay, sick pay, and other statutory payments.
Maintain accurate payroll records and prepare reports as required.
Respond to payroll-related queries from clients and employees promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with the accounting & finance team to ensure seamless operations.
Assist in the implementation of payroll system updates and improvements.
Support the training and mentoring of junior payroll staff where necessary.

Profile

A successful Senior Payroll Officer should have:

Comprehensive knowledge of payroll systems and processes.
A strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
Proficiency in using payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.
