Operations Coordinator

Brighouse | Up to £30,000 | Full-Time, Permanent

Our client, a well-established engineering business based in Brighouse, is looking to recruit an organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a highly varied role where no two days will be the same, offering the opportunity to become a key part of the business and support a wide range of operational and administrative activities. Salary up to £30,000 depending on experience
Full-time, permanent position
Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm | 30 minute break
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Varied role within a successful engineering environment

As Operations Administrator, you'll provide essential support across the business, helping to ensure day-to-day operations run efficiently and compliantly

Duties will include:

Conducting routine fire safety checks and supporting health & safety monitoring activities
Ensuring company fleet vehicles remain roadworthy and compliant, including arranging MOTs, servicing and repairs
Managing administration relating to lifting equipment inspections and certification
Administering fuel cards and maintaining the fleet management system
Booking and coordinating accommodation for staff as required
Processing and coordinating month-end invoices
Ordering PPE and maintaining stock levels
Supporting a range of operational, compliance and office administration tasks
Assisting with the smooth coordination of day-to-day business operations

About You

Strong Administration experience
Ideally from an engineering, manufacturing or technical environment
Highly organised and able to manage a varied workload effectively
Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach
Confident using Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Excel and Teams
Able to work independently and communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels
