Customer Care Coordinator / Scheduler

£30,000–£33,000 (possibly negotiable depending on experience)+ Bonus + Private Healthcare + Excellent Benefits

We’re recruiting for a Customer Care Coordinator to join a well-established, privately owned organisation with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects.
Based in the company’s Berkhamsted office, you’ll join a friendly and supportive customer care team, acting as a key point of contact for customers. This is a varied role in which you’ll coordinate repairs, manage customer enquiries and work closely with site teams and subcontractors to ensure issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
With a strong pipeline of projects, low staff turnover and ambitious growth plans, the business can offer long-term stability, fully funded training and genuine opportunities for career progression.
The role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as a main point of contact customers.
- Recording, prioritising and managing reported defects and maintenance requests.
- Coordinating remedial work with subcontractors and site teams.
- Tracking outstanding jobs and ensuring agreed service levels are achieved.
- Keeping customers informed throughout the repair process.
- Working with Construction, Technical and Commercial teams to resolve issues.
- Maintaining accurate records using the company’s customer care systems.
- Helping the business maintain excellent customer satisfaction standards.
- Occasionally visiting live developments when required. Driver with own car is essential.
About you
We’d like to hear from candidates who are:
- Confident communicators with excellent customer service skills.
- Highly organised and able to manage a busy, varied workload.
- Calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations.
- Proactive problem-solvers who take ownership of customer enquiries.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other IT-based systems.
Experience in customer care, aftercare, property, construction or strong organisational/coordination or scheduling experience would be beneficial, but candidates from other fast-paced, customer-focused environments are also encouraged to apply.
