Our client based in Bedford are currently looking for a warehouse operative who can also drive as some drop offs locally will be required. This is a day shift working 8.00am to 5.00pm (Monday to Thursday) 8.00am to 4.00pm Friday.

The daily duties of this position include:

Loading and unloading equipment from 3.5 tonne box vans
Identifying equipment that has potential for a second life
Asseting customer loads
Processing IT equipment to both customer requirements and company standards
Destroying hard drives and data tapes using a mobile crushing unit and shredder
Preparing and palleting equipment ready for resale or recycling
Maintaining a clean working environment
Dismantling and processing of electronic equipment
Assisting with collections from customer sites

To be suitable for this position the successful candidate will:

Understand the importance of customer service
Have the ability to work within a team and unsupervised
Have good communication skills
Maintain a high attention to detail
Have a strong work ethic and general understanding of health & safety within the workplace
Have an interest in IT equipment, full training will be given in all aspects of the role
Have a clean UK driving licence (or currently learning to drive)
