Healthcare Assistant

Location: Bishops Frome, WR6
Pay Rate: £15.00 - £17.00 per hour
Shifts: Full-Time & Part-Time | Waking Nights | 10:30pm - 9:30am

Meet Our Client

We are looking for compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support a wonderful 2-year-old boy within his family home.

He is a happy, gentle and affectionate little boy who enjoys being around familiar people and taking part in activities that bring him comfort and reassurance.

As part of his dedicated 1:1 care team, you'll play an important role in supporting his health, wellbeing and development, enabling him to remain safely at home with his family.

You'll provide high-quality clinical and personal care throughout the night, ensuring he remains comfortable, safe and well supported while working closely with his family and the wider clinical team.

This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in a young child's life every single day.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering high-quality personal and clinical care
Tracheostomy Care
Ventilation Management
PEG Feeding, including nutrition, hydration and medication administration
Seizure Management
Personal care and nappy changes
Moving and Handling
Monitoring and responding to changes in health and wellbeing
Maintaining accurate care records
Working closely with the family and healthcare professionals

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

Have a minimum of 3 months' paid care experience within the UK.
Have the right to work in the UK.
Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and child-centred care.
Be willing to complete client-specific clinical training.
Hold a full UK driving licence.

Please note: Due to the nature of this care package, our client's family has requested female Healthcare Assistants to join the care team.
