Legal Assistant - Dunstable

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent - Mon to Fri 9am till 5pm

The Opportunity

An established and growing legal practice is seeking an experienced and motivated Legal Assistant to join its busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

Providing administrative and secretarial support to fee earners and solicitors.
Preparing, formatting, and amending legal documents and correspondence.
Managing client files and ensuring accurate record keeping.
Liaising with clients, courts, and third parties in a professional manner.
Handling telephone enquiries and scheduling appointments.
Managing diaries, meetings, and document filing.
Supporting case management and compliance procedures.
Assisting with general office administration as required.

Required Skills and Experience

Previous experience in a Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or similar legal support role.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Professional and confident communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience working within a legal environment is essential.
