Purpose of the role:

The Night Warehouse Controller is responsible for taking good-ins overnight, maintaining and cleaning the warehouse including fridges, packaging area, mezzanine floor and general warehouse. A key part of the role will be to ensure we have consistency for all warehouse inventory for both goods-in and goods-out.

Main Responsibilities:

Handover with opening controller.
Cleaning of warehouse, fridges, packaging area and general warehouse.
Ensure all good ins are processed on time and accurately.
Signs drivers back in after their routes have been completed.
Freshdesk ownership of round reconciliation.
Complete handover, checklists and closure reports on time.
Comply with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
Coordinate with other departments where required, such as, delivery time, procurement, and customer service.
Follow all RASOP documents to ensure a healthy and safe working environment.
Report damaged or missing items through electronic portal.
Report accidents, incidents and near misses through electronic portal.

Essential Skills:

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work under pressure.
Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Strong organisational skills.
Strong communication skills.
Good physical fitness (as role may involve lifting and standing for long periods).
Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent employment attendance record.

Desirable Skills:

Food Safety qualifications.
Previous warehouse experience.
Forklift licence.
