Unqualified Nursery Practitioner - Flexible Supply Work

Location: Southwark & Surrounding Areas, South East London
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £14 - £15 per hour

Veritas Education is recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Unqualified Nursery Practitioners to work on a daily supply basis across a range of welcoming nurseries in Southwark and the surrounding areas.

Whether you're looking for full-time work, a few days each week, or want to gain valuable experience in Early Years, we have flexible opportunities to suit your availability.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll support children aged 0-5 years, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where they can learn, play, and thrive in line with the EYFS framework.

What We're Looking For

Experience working with children in a nursery, school, childcare, or similar setting is desirable but not essential
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A willingness to learn and develop within an Early Years environment

Your Responsibilities

Supporting children's learning through play-based activities
Assisting with daily nursery routines, including mealtimes and outdoor play
Encouraging children's social, emotional, and language development
Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment
Working collaboratively with nursery staff to ensure the best outcomes for every child

Veritas Education work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
