Direct Response Employment Services are delighted to be supporting our client in Salisbury in the recruitment of a van driver on a temporary to permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced van driver to join a reputable business with branches across the UK.

Safely operate a company van to deliver and collect goods in accordance with traffic laws and company procedures.
Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely collections and deliveries.
Load, unload, and secure goods to prevent damage during transit.
Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance issues promptly.
Maintain accurate delivery records, collection notes, and proof of delivery documentation.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with customers and clients.
Keep the vehicle clean, roadworthy, and presentable at all times.
Work collaboratively with warehouse and transport teams to support efficient operations.

The role will be a temporary to permanent position working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with a starting salary of £13.00 per hour and increase to £14.60 after 12 weeks, after 12 weeks you will transfer to a permanent contract with he company.

Must have a valid driving licence with no more than 6 points or any bans / disqualifications and aged over 23 years for insurance.
