Warehouse Operative with FLT Counterbalance and Reach

An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operative who holds a nationally accredited FLT Counterbalance & FLT Reach Certificate and a full clean UK Driving licence to join my clients team in Daventry.

About the Job:

Responsibilities:

Use counterbalance FLT and Reach Truck for loading/ unloading vehicles/stores for automotive manufacturer
Book in items received using a computer system
Pick items from stores according to kitting list for fabricators, welders etc.
Pack completed items into bespoke cartons following instructions sheets and prepare for despatch to customer
General stores functions
Cover van driving when required
Help keep your workplace safe, clean and tidy
Work with rest of the team, and provide holiday or other cover
Adhere to health and safety and environmental requirements
Any other reasonable requests should be carried out to the best of your ability

Person Specification

Good literacy and numeracy
Must have accredited counterbalance FLT training certificate
Must have accredited Reach FLT training certificate
Must have a full driving license
Good communication skills
Must have experience in similar role, ideally in manufacturing
Experience of MRP system
Attention to detail is essential
Must be a strong team player with a “Can Do” attitude
Must be able to work diligently and with minimum of supervision
May be required to work additional hours to meet workload
Must be flexible in approach, willing take on other tasks, and be responsive to changing demands and situations
