Level 3 Nursery Practitioner | Belper

Location: Belper, Derbyshire
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Flexible Opportunities Available)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a friendly and welcoming nursery in Belper for a passionate and qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their team as soon as possible.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive early years setting where you'll play a vital role in delivering outstanding care and education to children aged 0-5 years. Whether you're an experienced practitioner or looking for your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will support children's learning and development through engaging activities, high-quality care, and positive interactions, helping every child to thrive in a safe and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality care and learning in line with the EYFS Framework.
Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's development.
Observe, assess, and record children's progress.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Promote children's emotional, social, physical, and educational development.
Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating nursery environment.
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) - essential.
Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
A good understanding of the EYFS Framework.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive approach.
A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.

Requirements

Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
Right to work in the UK.
Two satisfactory professional references.
