Job Description

Start your career with NOV as a Business Administration Apprentice - Quality and gain practical experience within our Quality department.

Based at our Glenrothes manufacturing site, you will complete a structured Modern Apprenticeship in Business Administration while supporting the Quality team with the preparation, control and management of documentation throughout the manufacturing process. You will work closely with Quality, Manufacturing, Projects, Sales and Inspection, helping to ensure customer documentation and certification packages are completed accurately and delivered on time.

This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop business administration skills while gaining valuable knowledge of quality systems, manufacturing processes and customer requirements within a global engineering organisation.

What You'll Do

Assist in preparing customer documentation and certification packages.
Maintain accurate quality records, databases and document control systems.
Support the compilation and checking of manufacturing documentation.
Liaise with Quality, Production, Projects, Sales and Inspection teams to obtain required documentation.
Maintain filing, archiving and document traceability.
Support continuous improvement activities within the Quality department.
Provide general administrative support to the Quality team.
Learn and work in accordance with Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.

What We're Looking For

Essential

National 5 (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
Good IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication and organisational skills.
A willingness to learn and develop.

Desirable

Higher grade education (or equivalent)
Business, Administration or IT qualification.
Foundation Apprenticeship.
Any prior experience in a working environment

Is organised and able to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
Demonstrates a positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
