Warehouse Operative - Temp to Perm

The rewards

£12.71 per hour (temp)
£12.96 per hour once permanent

Hours

Monday-Thursday: 8:00am-4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am-3:30pm
45-minute unpaid lunch break
Some flexibility for the right person (e.g. 8:30am-5:00pm for school runs etc.)

The role of Warehouse Operative:

Pick and pack orders accurately
Load/offload vehicles
Local deliveries & collections as required (ensuring paperwork is completed correctly)
Serve customers at the collection point when needed
Support stock checks, goods-in, bagging down bulk stock and kitting
Work closely with the warehouse team and communicate effectively with colleagues/supervisors
Maintain high Health & Safety standards and follow company procedures/standards (including ISO where applicable)
Support continuous improvement and carry out other reasonable tasks as required

The ideal Warehouse Operative:

Previous warehouse experience and ability to complete regular manual handling
Able to follow instructions, work under pressure and to deadlines
Team player with the ability to work independently and use initiative
Good organisation and prioritisation skills
IT literate (Microsoft Office), good literacy and numeracy
Desirable: Full clean driving licence, Counterbalance FLT licence, ISO knowledge, experience working within construction/trade industry
