About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive, and reliable Office Administrator to join a busy and growing business. This varied role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting a team, managing office processes, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of an office.

The successful candidate will provide administrative, organisational, and operational support across the business while maintaining a professional and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

General Administration

Manage the daily administrative functions of the office.
Answer and direct telephone calls and emails professionally.
Maintain both electronic and paper filing systems.
Prepare correspondence, reports, documents, and spreadsheets.
Provide administrative support to senior managers as required.

Operational Support

Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and external service providers.
Raise and process purchase orders.
Maintain records relating to equipment, assets, and hired resources.
Assist with health and safety administration, ensuring records are kept up to date.

Essential Skills & Experience

Applicants should be able to demonstrate:

Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
The ability to work independently while handling confidential information.
A willingness to learn new systems and processes.
The ability to prioritise tasks and manage a varied workload.
