Operations Customs Administrator - Slough

The rewards

£30,000–£33,000 per annum
Hybrid working — 2 days in the office, 3 days at home

Hours

8:00am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday

The role of Operations Customs Administrator:

Collaborate with Operations Planners and Customs Agents to prepare import and export paperwork for cross-border movement between the UK and EU
Monitor each load from start to finish, flagging any discrepancies to the Operations Planner
Organise and maintain up-to-date electronic filing systems for all paperwork, ensuring easy access for audits
Reach out to suppliers and Customs Agents to resolve documentation issues and ensure timely deliveries
Assist with invoice processing and system SKU setups
Provide holiday cover for essential tasks
Track aged debts and support new product launches with timely barcode and SKU creation

The ideal Operations Customs Administrator:

Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
Good communication abilities and a methodical approach to work
Ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Some knowledge of customs or logistics preferred but not essential
Experience with SAP and Microsoft Excel beneficial
Proactive mindset for identifying improvements
