Customer Service Advisor - Clearing Hotline (Fully Remote)

Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm (shifts based on workload)
Temporary — 10 August 2026 to 17 August 2026
Fully remote

The role of Customer Service Advisor:

Assist prospective students by submitting applications and answering queries via phone on a University Admissions Clearing hotline
Provide clear, accurate, and empathetic information about the admissions process
Ensure every customer receives a professional and supportive experience
Maintain meticulous records in compliance with data protection regulations
Work in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment

The ideal Customer Service Advisor:

Strong customer service skills and a compassionate approach
Ability to stay calm and resilient under pressure
Commitment to quality and high accuracy
Available for the full duration of the assignment (10–17 August 2026)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Familiarity with higher education processes a plus (training provided)
GCSE English grade C or above (or equivalent)
Right to work in the UK

Technical requirements: personal laptop or PC running Windows 11 or above (Apple devices, Chromebooks, and tablets not compatible); up-to-date antivirus software; functioning headset (speakers not permitted); quiet, distraction-free home working environment.
