Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for a Forklift Driver to begin work for a well-established company in the Telford area.

About the role:

Working Hours – Monday to Saturday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (1 hour lunch, 8 hours paid per day)
Pay Rate – £14 per hour
Brief Role Description – Working within a busy yard and warehouse environment handling ductile iron pipes and materials. Duties include forklift operation, loading and unloading artic lorries, order picking and preparing stock for dispatch.
Long-term work for the right candidate
Start: Monday 29th June

About You:

High work ethic & team player
Punctual & reliable
You must be a time served/qualified Forklift Driver
Valid forklift licence required
Previous warehouse, yard or dispatch experience preferred
Comfortable working with heavy materials and stock handling

Main Duties:

Load and unload artic lorries safely and efficiently
Pick orders from stock locations
Bundle and prepare orders for dispatch
Operate forklift trucks safely in line with procedures
Handle ductile iron pipe products and materials
Maintain a safe and tidy working environment

PPE Required:

High visibility coat/vest
Hard hat
Safety boots
