Week 1 - 8AM - 4:30PM
Week 2 - 10:30AM - 7PM
£13.18 Per Hour

Job Summary

My client is seeking a reliable and experienced FLT Driver/Warehouse Operative to join their dynamic logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklift trucks, managing warehouse activities, and ensuring the efficient handling of materials.

Duties

Follow procedures within the warehouse to ensure efficiency and safety
Carry out daily forklift safety checks and report defects
Load and unload vehicles
Move, stack and store products in designated warehouse locations
Accurately pick and place orders in the designated delivery locations
Assist in daily stock audits
Maintain a flexible approach to work
Carry out general warehouse duties when required

Requirements

Proven experience operating forklift trucks (valid certification preferred)
Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic repairs on equipment
Experience in materials handling, shipping & receiving, and stock organisation
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Basic mathematical skills for counting, measuring, and recording data accurately
Physical ability for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
Prior warehouse experience is highly desirable
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
