911 Staffing are recruiting for a Warehouse Assistant on a permanent basis in the Swindon area.

As a key member of the warehouse team, you will play an essential role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage and distribution of book donations that make a meaningful impact worldwide.

About the role:

Monday to Friday - No weekends!
Working hours are 8am-4pm (37.5 hours paid per week)
Swindon based (close to the town centre & accessible by public transport)
Permanent role
Salary is £24,800 - £26,000 per annum, depending on MHE experience

The Warehouse Assistant role includes the following responsibilities:

Support the receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of books
Work with other team members to achieve book donation targets
Contribute to the overall cleanliness and safety of the working environment by following health and safety practices
Operate MHE - Forklift Truck(s)
Other ad hoc duties as required

Requirements for the Warehouse Assistant role:

Have previous experience working in a warehouse environment
Have a collaborative approach to support a positive team environment to enable book donation targets and other KPIs to be met
Have a full understanding of workplace safety regulations and a proactive approach to ensuring a safe and clean working environment for all team members
Have the physical ability to carry out duties that involve lifting and bending, and possess a clear understanding of manual handling principles and best practices
Be familiar using Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) with strong attention to detail
Experienced and licensed to operate MHE (Forklift) - Highly desirable
