Description

Manage the credit control process, including monitoring outstanding debts and ensuring timely payments.
Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts regularly.
Communicate with clients to resolve payment issues and queries professionally and effectively.
Prepare and distribute regular reports on credit performance and outstanding balances.
Assist in setting credit limits and assessing the creditworthiness of new and existing clients.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless invoicing and payment processes.
Identify and escalate potential risks in the credit process to management.
Support the implementation of improvements to credit control procedures.

Profile

A successful Credit Specialist should have:

Experience in accounting and finance within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
Proficiency in financial software and tools relevant to credit control.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
