Assistant Merchandiser | Leeds (Hybrid)

Hours:

Monday to Friday — hybrid working

The role of Assistant Merchandiser:

Collaborating with the merchandising team to ensure stock levels meet customer demand and sales targets
Analysing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for maximising revenue
Assisting in planning and forecasting stock requirements for upcoming seasons and promotions
Monitoring stock performance and optimising inventory levels
Supporting the preparation of reports and presentations for stakeholders
Co-ordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
Working closely with the buying team to maintain a cohesive product range

The ideal Assistant Merchandiser:

Experience or education in retail, merchandising, or a related field
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external suppliers
Proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced retail environment
