Port Operative | Millbay Docks, Plymouth

The rewards:

£13.34 per hour (weekday and Saturday shifts)
£19.67 per hour (Sundays)
£26.68 per hour (bank holidays)

Full training provided and paid for by the client
Drug/alcohol test and fitness to work test paid for by the agency

Hours:

Rota-based, average 20–25 hours per week from mid-July to end of August
Typical shifts: 10:00am–2:00pm or 6:30pm–10:30pm weekdays and Saturdays; 1:30pm–10:30pm Sundays
Must be flexible and able to commit to at least 3–4 shifts per week
Temporary role expected to last until approximately September/November

The role of Port Operative:

Mooring of ships
Handling cargo loaders such as forklifts as required (training provided)
Dealing with any issues arising with good customer service

The ideal Port Operative:

Good health and able to pass drug and alcohol test and fitness to work test
Good customer service background
Flexible and able to commit to regular shifts
