Assembly Operative | Staverton, Cheltenham

The rewards:

£13.50 per hour
Full-time, permanent position (37.5 hours per week)

Hours:

Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:15pm, Friday 7:30am – 12:00pm

The role of Assembly Operative:

Assembling and testing electrical sub-assemblies and completed systems
Integrating electrical sub-assemblies into main products
Assembling components issued from stores
Completing all relevant production and quality documentation
Using a tablet-based system to access digital work instructions, attend online meetings and training, and send and receive company emails
Barcode scanning supplier information into spreadsheets
Supporting stock control for production builds and monitoring stock levels at workstations
Maintaining a clean and organised working area in line with 5S standards
Participating in continuous improvement activities

The ideal Assembly Operative:

Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
Experience working with electrical components desirable
Good attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
Comfortable using tablets and digital systems
Strong commitment to quality and workplace organisation
