We are recruiting for a Legal Administrator on behalf of a well-established solicitors practice just outside Darlington. Working closely with a Partner and an experienced Legal Secretary, this is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and supportive legal team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You'll provide secretarial and administrative support across Conveyancing, Wills and Probate matters, helping to ensure the smooth running of a busy legal practice.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide secretarial support to a Partner and legal team.
Prepare legal documents and correspondence.
Manage client communications and appointments.
Maintain accurate records and case files.
Support Conveyancing, Wills and Probate matters.
Assist with general office and administrative duties.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Previous legal secretarial experience preferred.
Strong typing and IT skills.
Experience using Microsoft Office and case management systems.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Professional, friendly and proactive approach.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.

SALARY & BENEFITS

Salary commensurate with experience.
20 days holiday plus additional office closure days.
Paid office closure between Christmas and New Year.
Supportive and established legal practice.
