Job Description - Warehouse Goods-In and Forklift Truck Driver

You must have a car or motorbike to be able to get to site location, as there are no bus or train services available.

Full-time Hours: Monday to Friday (40-hours per week).

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3pm.

Hourly Pay Rate: £12.90ph to £13.03ph

Trial shifts paid at £12.90ph, on successful completion of your 12-week probation trial period you will become a full-time temporary to permanent worker on £13.03ph
On-going pay reviews after successful completion of probation period.
Overtime paid at time and a half for hours over 40-per week.

You will support the Goods-in / Goods-out logistics teams in a variety of ways, with different duties, tasks, and responsibilities. You will have opportunities to learn new skills and complete specialist training if you want to.

Job Overview:

Working in a busy warehouse cold storage environment.
Goods-in and Goods-out, loading, stacking (manually and with forklift).
Helping warehouse team with manual lifting and carrying duties.
Helping production team when needed.
Working in-doors and out-doors, as well as in an ambient / freezer environment.

Essentials / Desirables:

Forklift Truck Driving License and experience (ideally Pivot Steer or Bendi or Flexi) would be extremely desirable.
Able to lift and carry up to 25KG.
Able to manually stack boxes and containers.
Own Transport (due to rural location between Southampton and Winchester).
Must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent full-time basis.
Living in Hampshire so attend interview and site tour.
Able to work in minus 18-degree chiller storage, as well as outside in the yard.
