Production Operative - Electronics/Industrial Cleaning - Eastbourne

Hours

37 hours per week
Monday to Thursday: 08:00–16:45
Friday: 07:00–12:00

The role of Production Operative:

Packing complete products in line with specifications
Cleaning components and work areas to strict industrial standards (small products and components, not general domestic cleaning)
Potting of PCA (Printed Circuit Assemblies) using preset programs on industrial equipment
Following Bill of Materials (BOMs) to ensure correct components, leaflets, and packaging
Working to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and D&T specifications (full training provided)
Maintaining quality standards where any deviation could impact manufacturing outcomes

The ideal Production Operative:

Ability to read and follow BOMs, SOPs, and technical instructions (desired but not essential — training provided)
Strong attention to detail and a process-driven mindset
Reliable, consistent, and quality-focused
Previous manufacturing experience beneficial but not essential
Able to stand for extended periods and complete repetitive tasks with precision
