Hours

Various shifts between 6am and midnight, over 7 days

The role of Retail Security Officer:

Providing a visible uniformed deterrent to contribute to the safety and security of the client's premises and staff
Carrying out company policy on loss prevention and ensuring the safety of staff and visitors
Lawfully deter potential troublemakers on site
Observe and report incidents using the correct reporting systems
Carrying out all duties assigned by the client or manager
Ensuring site knowledge is kept up to date
Understanding and implementing fire and safety evacuation procedures
Assisting with staff and contractor searches if required by the client
Ensuring the security base is always maintained in a clean and tidy condition
Conducting yourself in a manner that brings credit to yourself and the company, with SIA licence clearly displayed

The ideal Retail Security Officer:

Valid SIA licence (essential)
Aged 18 or over
Confident communicator and team player
Great communication and customer service skills
Tech-savvy enough to use digital devices for admin
