Location: Cheshire East (Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Alsager, Congleton & surrounding areas)

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Opportunities Available

Salary: £90 - £100 per day

Start Date: September 2026 (or sooner)

Astro Education is currently recruiting School Administrators to support a number of welcoming Primary Schools across Cheshire East.

This is a fantastic opportunity for organised, professional, and friendly individuals who enjoy working in a busy environment and want to play a key role in supporting schools, staff, pupils, and parents.

Whether you have previous school administration experience or come from a strong administrative or customer service background, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the school reception and acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff
Handling incoming telephone calls and emails
Maintaining pupil records and updating school databases
Supporting attendance monitoring and reporting
Assisting with admissions and school communications
Producing letters, reports, and general correspondence
Supporting senior leaders and teaching staff with administrative tasks
Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed when welcoming visitors to the school

The Ideal Candidate

Previous administration experience
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional, approachable, and reliable
Experience using school systems such as SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom would be advantageous but is not essential
