Salary: £24,780 to £26,000, the top end will be for those with previous insurance experience

Customer Service Advisor Responsibilities:

Take ownership of new claims from initial phone call through to successful set-up, ensuring all information is processed accurately and efficiently
Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing guidance and reassurance throughout
Gather and verify all relevant claim information throughout the process
Keep customers informed throughout the claims processes, informing them of next steps and any additional requirements
Deliver an exceptional level of customer service across all touchpoints, consistently meeting service standards and ensuring positive customer outcomes
Work closely with internal teams to ensure claims are set up and progressed as they should be

Customer Service Advisor Skills and Experience:

Previous experience in a customer service or claims handling role is essential
Experience within insurance or claims handling would be advantageous but is not essential
A customer-first approach, with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding services and creating positive customer experiences
Proactive, positive, and empathetic, able to remain calm when dealing with customers
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide clear, professional guidance over the phone
Superb IT skills, comfortable using databases and CRM systems
Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately capture and record information
A driving licence and car is essential for this role
