About Us

We are a well-established, modern mixed dental practice in Doncaster with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional patient care and advanced dental treatments. Due to continued growth in our implant department, we are seeking a motivated and professional Implant Nurse to join our experienced clinical team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified dental nurse who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing outstanding support during complex dental procedures.

The Role

As an Implant Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting our implant clinicians throughout the patient journey, from consultation through to surgical and restorative treatment stages. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Chairside assistance during implant surgical and restorative procedures.
Preparation and maintenance of implant surgery equipment, instruments, and materials.
Ensuring compliance with CQC, HTM 01-05, and cross-infection control protocols.
Supporting clinicians with treatment planning and patient management.
Assisting with digital workflows, including scanning and imaging where applicable.
Providing reassurance and excellent care to patients undergoing treatment.
Maintaining accurate clinical records and stock control.
Supporting the wider clinical team as required.

Essential Requirements

GDC-registered Dental Nurse.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Professional, reliable, and positive attitude.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

The following would be advantageous but are not essential:

Sedation Nursing qualification and experience assisting with IV and/or inhalation sedation.
Implant Nursing qualification or previous implant nursing experience.
Radiography qualification.
Oral Health Education qualification.
Dental Photography qualification.
Experience with digital dentistry, intraoral scanning, and CBCT workflows.
