Solis has partnered with an ambitious early-stage AI startup that is building technology designed to transform how businesses operate through intelligent automation.

Having achieved strong early customer traction and secured backing from experienced investors, the business is entering a critical stage of growth. They are now looking for their first dedicated marketing hire to help build awareness, generate demand and establish a scalable growth engine.

About the Role

This is a founding marketing hire and a rare opportunity to build the growth function from the ground up.

Working directly with the founders, you'll take ownership of marketing strategy, positioning, demand generation and performance. A core responsibility will be building and optimising the company's inbound demand generation engine, creating a predictable flow of qualified opportunities through content, organic, paid, founder-led and product-led initiatives.

This is not a role for someone looking to inherit an established team or existing playbook. The founders are looking for a builder. Someone who enjoys creating systems, testing ideas, moving quickly and helping scale a business during its formative years.

This is a full-time office-based role. The founders believe ambitious companies are built through close collaboration, pace and shared ownership.

Responsibilities and Duties

Define and refine the company's positioning, messaging and value proposition.
Build and scale the company's inbound demand generation engine.
Develop and execute a multi-channel growth strategy across content, organic, paid, events and founder-led initiatives.
Own the funnel from awareness through to qualified pipeline generation.
Establish marketing infrastructure, reporting and attribution frameworks.
Work closely with customers, founders and commercial teams to identify growth opportunities.
Analyse campaign performance and customer behaviour to drive continuous improvement.
Create the foundations for a future marketing team as the business scales.

About You

Experience within a Series A or Series B technology startup is essential.
Proven experience in Growth Marketing, Demand Generation or a similar growth-focused role.
Demonstrated success building demand generation programmes in high-growth environments.
Strong commercial, analytical and technical capabilities.
Experience improving attribution, reporting and marketing infrastructure.
Comfortable operating across both strategy and hands-on execution.
Builder mentality with a willingness to create processes, systems and momentum from scratch.
Confident working directly with founders in a high-accountability environment.
Ambitious, resilient and genuinely excited by startup growth.
Degree from a leading university, ideally Russell Group, Oxbridge or an equivalent top-tier institution, preferably within a STEM-related discipline.
