We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Practitioners and a Room Leader to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team within our nursery setting, ensuring the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and care. Responsibilities

Lead and oversee daily nursery activities, ensuring they meet developmental and educational standards
Understands the EYFS and Safeguarding
Plan, organise, and implement engaging learning experiences tailored to children's individual needs
Supervise and support nursery staff, promoting teamwork and professional development
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, staff, and visitors
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
Ensure compliance with all relevant childcare regulations and policies
Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate records of their development
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of nursery practices through reflective practice and feedback

Qualifications

Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting
Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and child development
Previous management or leadership experience within a childcare environment is desirable
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Childcare qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent are essential
Valid DBS check and relevant safeguarding training
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and lead others confidently
A driving licence is advantageous for roles requiring travel between settings or activities outside the nursery
